Having traveled through this breathtaking country, I fell in love with its towering mountains, serene lakes, and welcoming people. Now, I’m excited to invite you to join me in experiencing and capturing this remarkable destination in August 2025.

There’s something magical about waking up in Kyrgyzstan. The moment the sun peeks over the snow-capped peaks and the lakes shimmer with the morning light, you realize you’re in a place where nature reigns supreme. I’ve been there, and I can tell you—it’s nothing short of spectacular.

Kyrgyzstan is often called the “Switzerland of Central Asia” because of its dramatic mountain scenery. But beyond the landscapes, it’s the vibrant culture and the genuine warmth of the people that truly captivate you.

Why This Workshop?

This isn’t just another photography tour; it’s a chance to immerse ourselves in a way of life that’s authentic and deeply connected to the natural world. We’ll explore the towering Tien Shan peaks, and the tranquil shores of Son Kol Lake, and even meet local villagers. One of my favorite experiences was watching an eagle hunter in action—trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or picking up a camera for the first time, there’s plenty to discover. Our travels will take us off the beaten path in 4x4 vehicles, on horseback, and even in old Soviet-era trucks to reach the most picturesque spots.
