Experience the Beauty of Nature in Every Frame

When I’m in the field creating images, I always envision the final print, carefully composing each frame and considering its ultimate impact. Fine Art Prints

Traditional Fine Art Prints are by far my favorite way of displaying my images. I just love the look of a framed print. I personally print each image, except for large format images, inspect, and sign each print before they are shipped to you. I print my images on Red River Paper’s Palo Duro SoftGloss Rag, a fine art paper made in Texas. This paper is museum quality, conservation grade, and acid-free, ensuring it lasts the test of time and remains beautiful on your wall for years to come.

Made from 100% cotton rag and featuring a lightly textured soft gloss surface, Palo Duro SoftGloss Rag gives the classic look of a darkroom photographic print, which I love. This paper has a slight texture on the surface, allowing the details of the image to really pop. The OBA-free archival paper is a neutral white, meaning the paper tone is neither warm nor cool, so the whites of the image are true white. This paper also produces luxurious deep blacks, resulting in beautiful contrast throughout the image.

Each image will come with at least a one-inch border around the image for matting and framing. I hand-sign each print in the lower right corner and write the edition number on the lower left corner.

I offer my Fine Art Prints in three options:

  1. Loose Prints: You can take these to your local frame shop to frame.

  2. Ready to Frame: My Ready to Frame prints are already matted in three different sizes, which are standard and can be found at any home decor store. Please note that to fit standard store-ready frame sizes, each image will have a very slight crop.

  3. Framed: Framing is very expensive and time-consuming. I can handle the framing process for you and ship you a finished piece of art ready to hang on your wall. Most of my images look best with a standard gallery-style black frame; however, if you wish to have a different style or color of frame, we can discuss that. I choose to use TruLife Acrylic with UV & Non-glare filters as the glazing for my framed images. This reduces the weight of the image and prevents shattering if the image should fall. The UV & Non-glare filters help protect the longevity of the image and reduce glare from the sun or lights.

Please note that fine art paper, whether it’s the paper I use or another brand, is very delicate and is not meant for handling. Oils from fingers will transfer to the surface of the paper, resulting in fingerprints. Only handle fine art papers while wearing cotton gloves and from the edges. If you are purchasing a loose print to have framed, I suggest you take it directly to the framer and let them handle the prints.

Canvas Prints

Canvas Prints: Elevate Your Space with Timeless Art

Printing your images on canvas offers a classic and timeless way to showcase your favorite moments from nature. My fine art canvas prints bring a touch of elegance to any space, with a texture and depth that uniquely highlight the intricate details of each photograph.

Crafted with care, each canvas is printed using high-quality inks on premium-grade, 100% cotton canvas. This ensures not only exceptional durability but also a stunning tonal range and contrast. The canvas captures the rich blacks and delicate whites, enhancing the subtle gradations and striking contrasts of your black and white images.

The canvas is then stretched over a sturdy wooden frame, creating a finished product that's ready to hang and admire. For added sophistication, canvas prints can have float frames added to them, enhancing their presence and providing a polished look. Whether you're looking to add a focal point to your living room, office, or gallery, canvas prints provide a versatile and stylish option. The matte finish reduces glare, allowing you to appreciate the nuances of the monochromatic tones in various lighting conditions. Each piece is also available in a range of sizes, offering flexibility to suit your specific space and aesthetic.

Canvas prints are also a more economical option, making fine art more accessible without compromising on quality. Additionally, the absence of glass eliminates a barrier between the viewer and the art, creating a more intimate and immersive experience.

Choosing a canvas print means choosing a piece of art that will stand the test of time, both in durability and style. It's a perfect way to bring the serene beauty of the natural world into your home, capturing the essence of each scene with a sense of timeless charm.
